Dr. A.P.J. Mahatma Gandhi is the father of the Nation. महात्मा गांधी राष्ट्रपिता है। He was born on October 2, 1869 at Porbander. उनका जन्म 2 अक्टूबर 1869, को पोरबंदर में हुआ। His full name was Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi. उनका पूरा नाम मोहनदास करमचंद गांधी था। His father was Dewan of Rajkot. उनके पिता राजकोट के दीवान थे। His mother was a religious lady. उनकी माता एक धार्मिक महिला थी। His wife was Kasturba. उनकी पत्नी कस्तूरबा थी। He passed high school in 1887. उन्होंने 1887 में हाई स्कूल पास किया। He went to London to study Law. वे कानून की पढ़ाई के लिए लंदन गए। After returning to India he fought for freedom of the country. भारत लौटने के बाद वे भारत की स्वतंत्रता के लिए लड़े। How To A.P.J. In 1893, he went to South Africa. 1893 में वे साउथ अफ्रीका गए। In South Africa he fought for the rights of the black people. साउथ अफ्रीका में वे काले लोगों के अधिकारों के लिए लड़े। In 1913, Gandhiji returned to India and fought for the freedom of India. 1913 में वे भारत लौटे और भारत की स्वतंत्रता के लिए लड़े।  In 1920 he started Non-Co-Operation Movement. 1920 में उन्होंने असहयोग आंदोलन शुरू किया। In 1930 he launched Civil Disobedience Movement. 1930 में उन्होंने सविनय अवज्ञा आंदोलन शुरू किया।  In 1942, he started Quit India Movement. 1942 में उन्होंने भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन शुरू किया। He went to jail many times. वे बहुत बार जेल गए। He believed in truth and non-violence. वह सत्य और अहिंसा में विश्वास करते थे। People believed in his words and followed him. लोग उनके शब्दों पर भरोसा करते थे और उनका अनुसरण करते थे। He was killed in 1948. 1948 में उन्हें मार दिया गया। His popular name was Bapu. उनका प्रसिद्ध नाम बापू था। How To A.P.J.
