Children’s day is celebrated on November 14 every year. हर साल 14 नवंबर को चिल्ड्रंस डे मनाया जाता है। On 14th November, our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru was born. 14 नवंबर को हमारे प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू का जन्म हुआ था। He loved children. वे बच्चों को प्रेम करते थे। That is why November 14 is celebrated in his memory. तभी 14 नवंबर को उनकी याद में यह मनाया जाता है। How To Celebrate CHILDREN’S DAY 01

Pt. Nehru was the architect of modern India. पंडित नेहरू आधुनिक भारत के रचनाकार थे। He was also a writer. वे लेखक भी थे। He wrote three books. उन्होंने तीन किताब लिखी है। ‘Discovery of India’ is his famous book. डिस्कवरी ऑफ इंडिया उनकी प्रसिद्ध पुस्तक है। He was also a freedom fighter. वे स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भी थे। He was a good friend of Mahatma Gandhi. वे महात्मा गांधी के अच्छे मित्र थे। Children called him Chacha Nehru. बच्चे उन्हें चाचा नेहरू कहते थे। He fulfilled the wishes of children. उन्होंने बच्चों की इच्छाओं को पूरा किया था। On Children’s Day, Meetings are held and cultural programmes are arranged. चिल्ड्रंस डे पर मीटिंग का आयोजन किया जाता है और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम भी होते हैं। Games and sports are organized. खेलों का आयोजन होता है। In schools, good children are honoured and given awards. स्कूल में अच्छे बच्चों का सम्मान किया जाता है और उन्हें पुरस्कार दिए जाते हैं। How To Celebrate CHILDREN’S DAY 01

Children are the future of the country. बच्चे देश का भविष्य है। We should take care of them. हमें उनका ध्यान रखना चाहिए। Childhood must be protected. बचपन बचाया जाना चाहिए। We should love children. हमें बच्चों को प्रेम करना चाहिए। This is the message of Children’s Day. चिल्ड्रंस डे का यही संदेश है।

Dussehra is very important festival of Hindus. दशहरा हिंदुओं का महत्वपूर्ण त्योहार है। It is celebrated before Diwali. यह दिवाली के पहले मनाया जाता है। It is celebrated in the month of October. या अक्टूबर में मनाया जाता है। It is celebrated in memory of Rama’s victory over Ravan. यह राम की रावण पर विजय की याद में मनाया जाता है। It symbolizes the victory of good over evil. यह बुराई पर अच्छाई की जीत का प्रतीक है। How To Celebrate CHILDREN’S DAY 01

Dussehra is celebrated for ten days. दशहरा 10 दिन मनाया जाता है। On Dussehra, Ravan’s effigy is burnt. दशहरे पर रावण का पुतला जलाया जाता है। On this day there is great commotion. इस दिन बड़ा समागम होता है। Houses and shops are decorated. मकान और दुकानों को सजाया जाता है। Sweets are bought and exchanged. मिठाई खरीदी और अदला-बदली की जाती है। People wear new clothes. लोग नए कपड़े पहनते हैं। They go to Ramlila to witness the big event of Ram- Ravan fight. रामलीला मैदान जाते हैं राम रावण युद्ध को देखने। People wake up and do not sleep at night. लोग जागते हैं और उस रात नहीं सोते हैं। There is a lesson from this event. इस घटना में एक सबक है। It teaches us to be honest and truthful. यह हमें ईमानदार और विश्वास योग्य होना सिखाता है। At the end evil is defeated. अंत में बुराई हारती है। Truth wins. सच जीतता है। It teaches us to sacrifice. हमें बलिदान देना सिखाता है। Ram was a sacrificing person. गांव में एक बलिदानी पुरुष थे। He sacrificed much for humanity. उन्होंने मानवता के लिए बहुत त्याग किया। Wives should obey their husband. पत्नियों को पति की आज्ञा मानना चाहिए। Children should obey their father. बच्चों को पिता की आज्ञा मानना चाहिए। We should not make compromise on truth. सच पर कंप्रोमाइज नहीं करना चाहिए।  That is the message of Dussehra. यह दशहरे का संदेश है। How To Celebrate CHILDREN’S DAY 01
